كان مارك سيرني مُهندس البنية المعمارية لجهاز سوني القادم للجيل الجديد قد أجرى لقاءً حصرياً مع Wired استعرض فيه أولى التفاصيل عن الجهاز المنزلي القادم من الشركة و الذي سنفترض أنه سيحصل على الاسم Playstation 5 رغم أن هذا لم يتم تأكيده رسمياً حتى الآن.
بجانب التأكيد على تقديم تقنية Ray Tracing و الصوت المُحيطي و معالج رايزن من الجيل الثاني بحجم 7 نانومتر، كانت سوني قد أكدت أيضاً أن الجهاز سيقوم باستعمال SSD متطور و أعلى سرعة مما هو متوفر في الأسواق حالياً.
مجلة البلايستيشن الرسمية و من خلال عدد يونيو حصلت على تصريح إضافي من سوني:
تقنية Ultra SSD ذات السرعة الفائقة هي مفتاح جوهري في خططنا للجيل القادم. رؤيتنا أن نجعل أوقات التحميل شيئاً من الماضي، مما سيسمح للمطورين بخلق تجارب لعب جديدة و مُميزة.
Mark Sereni, architect of Sony's next-generation architecture, had an exclusive interview with Wired, where he reviewed the first details about the home appliance coming from the company, which we will assume will be named Playstation 5, although this has not yet been formally confirmed.
In addition to emphasizing Ray Tracing, surround sound and a 7nm second-generation RAZEN processor, Sony has also confirmed that the device will use advanced SSD and higher speed than currently available in the market.
Official PlayStation Magazine and through June number I got an additional permission from Sony:
Ultra-high speed SSD technology is a key to our next-generation plans. Our vision is to make loading times a bit of the past, allowing developers to create new and distinctive gaming experiences.
